Texas Mid-Cities Alley #85 Awards
The Alley Secretary counts and maintains all votes until award presentations are made.

Al Armstrong Clown of the Year
Traveling trophy and a smaller trophy
1. Applicant must be an active and practicing member of T.M.C.C.A #85.
2. The individual must be known for their dedication to T.M.C.C.A #85 and clowning without personal gain.
3. A well-rounded clown is recommended, i.e., someone who gives to their community – is an active volunteer, who is exposed to the community, or who is a professional in the Art of Clowning.
4. The individual must promote T.M.C.C.A #85 in all facets of clowning.
5. The recipient should be recognized by their fellow clowns as an outstanding individual who shines in clowning.
6. Applicant must have been a member of T.M.C.C.A #85 for at least one year.
7. If more than one nominee, votes will be by written ballot and final results will be secret until presentation.
8. Nominations must be in writing and submitted to the secretary by the beginning of the November meeting.

Best First of May
1. Must have been a member of T.M.C.C.A #85 for a year or less.
2. Must have made a great effort and impact at improving his/her self, i.e., make-up, costume, skits, or entertaining.
3. Must have been willing to work to participate in T.M.C.C.A #85 activities and alley meetings and be willing to work for the betterment of the alley.

Mid Sillies Award
1. A funny incident, maybe a little embarrassing, that happened when doing something related to clowning activity, continues with the show or activity.
2. Must be written down by either the person it happened to or someone else who knows the details. Award goes to the clown to which the incident happened. Written information to be turned over to Secretary by November meeting and read at that time, then voted on by written ballot.

Board of Directors Award
1. This award will be decided by the Board of Directors.
2. This award will be presented to recipient not only for clowning skill, but for work done in the name of and for promoting clowning.

Most Improved Joey
1. Must have been a member of T.M.C.C.A #85 for more than one year.
2. Must have made a great effort and impact at improving his/herself, i.e., make-up, costume, skits, entertaining.
3. Must be willing to participate in T.M.C.C.A #85 activities and alley meetings to work for the betterment of the alley.

Nick “Nicola” Bradley Creative Arts Award
Plaque
1. A solo performance in clown makeup and costume at an alley meeting.
2. Must demonstrate originality, inventiveness, and ingenuity in the entertainment of others.
3. The timeframe for this award is from November 1 to October 30, to be voted on (by secret ballot) in November and award presented in January.

Hubba Hubba Award
1. A group performance in clown makeup and costume at an alley meeting.
2. Must demonstrate originality, inventiveness, and ingenuity in the entertainment of others.
3. The timeframe for this award is from November 1 to October 30, to be voted on (by secret ballot) in November and award presented in January.

Sparkplug Award
This award is given for the Joeys who are responsible for bringing in the new members this year. A 1st place certificate of Application given for the most new members in the year.
